Managing Your WMNN Subscription
Columns will begin this week
Dear friend:
Thank you so much for subscribing to Western Maine Neighborhood News! We are thrilled to have you with us. More than 100 readers have already signed up, and even though we haven’t begun publishing yet, enough of you have already paid in advance to cover our initial start-up costs. Your support is a huge vote of confidence, and proof that while the newspaper industry may be struggling, people still want to read local news!
We are also pleased to report that at least six former Bethel Citizen columnists have committed to continuing or resuming their neighborhood news columns. The first columns will be e-mailed on Thursday, December 18. All columns will be free to all readers during the first week. After the first week, half of the columns will be free each week, while half will be for paid subscribers only on a rotating basis. If you want to read every column, we encourage you to upgrade your subscription.
Managing E-Mail Notifications
Each neighborhood news column will be published in a separate post. By default you will receive an e-mail for every column. If you would like to manage your e-mail subscriptions simply visit www.wmnn.org/account. From there you can use the sliders to check only the columns you are interested in having e-mailed to you. (Make sure you leave the top “Western Maine Neighborhood News” on, so you’ll receive any important general updates like this.)
Note that even if you turn e-mails off, you can still find every column by visiting the website, and paid subscribers have full access.
Thank you again for joining the Western Maine Neighborhood News community. We look forward to your readership and comments soon!
