Happy August, and an event filled month it will be.
The Rotary yard sale is starting this Thursday through Sunday. There are always many treasures to be found there.
The Saturday Market is on August 8 at the Bethel Methodist Church from 9 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. while the Summer Fest is also happening. Yes, I do call it Summer Fest as I respect and accept the wishes of our fellow Native citizens. The name change hadn’t altered the event rather than the changes made by organizers over the years. Aho.
On Tuesday, August 11, the Neighbors Feeding Neighbors community dinner is from 4:30 till 6:30 p.m. at the Bethel Methodist Church. Bring your appetite and some non-perishable food donations. What a great way to socialize and support our community.
If I am not mistaken, the Bethel Seniors Group will meet on August 12 at the Square in South Paris. Am looking forward to seeing everyone again.
